REDDING, CT — Michael T. Witte, of Hidden Brook Farm, Redding, handed peacefully on Tuesday, February 16, 2021, surrounded by his loving household.
Affectionately often known as “Howdy,” Mike Witte was born Sept. 30, 1939 in New York, NY, to Henry J. and Gladys (Riordan) Witte of Larchmont, NY. He attended Larchmont faculties, Iona Preparatory College and Notre Dame College. Whereas attending Notre Dame Mike was a supervisor of the Combating Irish soccer staff. He later went on to the Parsons College of Enterprise and New York College the place he attained his MBA.
Mike served proudly within the U.S. Marine Corps in the course of the Korean Struggle period and was an lively supporter of U.S. army veterans. He started his profession in property planning and wealth administration with Citicorp, which then grew to become Chancellor Capital Administration, and later Invesco Non-public Capital, retiring in 2018 on the age of 79. Witte (Nancy Reagan), and 7 grandchildren, Soyer, Elias, Zachary, Alex, Natalie, Carson and Michael J., a brother, Stephen Witte, and several other nieces and nephews. Along with his mother and father, Mike was predeceased by a sister, Eileen Louis Witte Dinolfo.
As a result of considerations dealing with us all at the moment relating to social gatherings, a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Patrick Church, Redding Ridge, and interment at Kensico Cemetery, Valhalla, NY shall be held privately for the rapid household.
